Alongside our team of 180+ members spanning Media Buyers, Copywriters, Content Managers, Landing Page Developers, Content Creators, Email & SMS Coordinators, CGC & Influencer Managers, we need a Social Media Manager to manage all creative projects and organic social media platforms for Pilothouse Internal Marketing.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong project management skills and a detail-oriented approach.
  • Experience running organic Linkedin + Instagram campaigns.
  • Ability to collaborate with design + strategy teams to create compelling content.
  • Passion for content creation and strategic organic marketing.
  • Must be comfortable on camera and skilled in video editing. You will be responsible for filming, green screening, explaining etc ON camera.
  • Availability to work in PST (mandatory from 9 AM to 12 PM PST, with flexibility for the rest of the shift).
  • Bonus: Based in Victoria and able to shoot content in-office or in-studio (not required).

ESSENTIAL QUALITIES:

  • Proven experience in growing social media accounts, especially Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Comfortable on camera and skilled in video editing.
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to craft engaging social media posts.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices.
  • Ability to monitor and analyze social media performance data.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy that enhances brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create and edit high-quality content in collaboration with video editors and graphic designers.
  • Generate weekly engagement reports, analyzing performance data to refine strategies.
  • Strategize innovative marketing campaigns and social media series that align with company-wide revenue goals.
  • Formulate a Linkedin strategy to strengthen Pilothouse’s presence on the platform.
  • Maintain and update a Content Calendar, ensuring consistency and timely delivery.
  • Conduct competitive audits of social media platforms to stay ahead of trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation and improve lead quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the Content Calendar and manage the creative queue for content production.
  • Utilize data insights to guide creative strategies and optimize lead generation.
  • Innovate content strategies that align with Pilothouse’s performance-driven approach.
  • Lead the execution of Pilothouse’s organic content strategy across multiple platforms.
  • Elevate Pilothouse’s brand voice and authority in the DTC market.


ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Social Media Manager with a passion for strategic content design and a strong work ethic. You will manage all creative projects and organic social media platforms for Pilothouse Internal Marketing, working closely with a team of designers to bring ideas to life. This role requires the ability to break down and communicate performance-driven strategies in fun and digestible ways. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating impactful content that enhances Pilothouse’s brand voice and position as a leader in the DTC space.

The focus is on delivering quality content that impresses and educates, not simply chasing trends for views. We want someone who can demonstrate why Pilothouse is a top-tier agency and how we help brands scale through cutting-edge performance and strategy. You will primarily work across LinkedIn and Instagram to reach industry leaders, but will also contribute to TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.

While the primary focus of this role is on organic strategy, candidates with experience in paid campaigns—or a strong desire to learn—will find this position highly rewarding, as there will be opportunities to expand into managing paid media over time.

Compensation
