DTC Newsletter & Podcast is a fast-growing B2B media outlet, delivering actionable insights to an audience of over 150,000 DTC marketers and brand founders.
As our team expands, we are looking for an Account Executive with media sales experience to support our lean sales team, drive new business, and collaborate with an amazing group of professionals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of sales experience in media sales, with a proven track record of prospecting, securing new business, and consistently exceeding sales goals.
- A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, a passion for sales, and the ability to proactively pursue new partnership opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience across the full sales process (prospecting, discovery, nurturing, negotiations/procurement, and client success/renewals).
- Experience or interest in the eCommerce industry, SaaS, and/or B2B marketing.
- Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and sales prospecting tools (Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.).
ESSENTIAL QUALITIES:
- Fast Learner – Quickly understands and communicates our company mission and media proposition to potential advertisers.
- Organized – Manages a high volume of accounts and deals across multiple pipelines (outbound, inbound, and renewals) without compromising client experience.
- Detail-Oriented – Ensures that all elements of a campaign, media plan, deals, and execution are accurate and meet client expectations.
- Team Player – Collaborates with internal and external teams to communicate complex concepts and ensure alignment.
- Accountable – Proactively addresses challenges, overcomes roadblocks, and takes ownership of results.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Sales & Business Development – Maintain and grow advertising revenue for DTC Newsletter & Podcast through daily prospecting and lead nurturing.
- Client Consultation & Education – Develop a deep understanding of our offerings and sponsor needs to demonstrate how DTC Newsletter & Podcast can support their growth goals.
- Deal Negotiation & Contracting – Structure pricing, payment terms, and scheduling for campaigns.
- Campaign Management & Client Success – Work with our Client Success Coordinator to ensure seamless campaign execution, driving renewals and upsells.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and building lasting partnerships between DTC and our sponsors. We offer a remote work environment, opportunities for career advancement, and the chance to work with industry pioneers.
This is a full-stack AE position, meaning you will own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing and renewal strategy. You’ll work closely with our Director of Sales and have the support of our Client Success Coordinator, all while engaging with industry-leading brands daily.

Our content helps them navigate the ever-changing waters of digital marketing, including creative trends, traffic platforms, technology, and industry news/commentary. Every week we send out 5 newsletter issues, publish multiple podcast episodes and provide topical news coverage through our socials.

COMPENSATION
$60K-$70K base, plus performance incentives (OTE $90K-$100K+)
