Alongside our team of 180+ members spanning Media Buyers, Copywriters, Content Managers, Landing Page Developers, Content Creators, Email & SMS Coordinators, CGC & Influencer Managers, we need a Brand Content Manager to lead the strategic planning and execution of brand and marketing efforts for Pilothouse.

In this role, you will be managing the entire content creation process from ideation to distribution. Collaborate closely with our in-house designers, sales team, and strategy teams to ensure all creative initiatives align with business objectives and brand positioning.

You will drive organic growth and brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation through organic strategies, ensuring Pilothouse maintains a leadership position in the DTC and e-commerce space. Your creative direction will include crafting case studies, client testimonials, a compelling portfolio that showcases our expertise in innovative performance-driven marketing strategies, sales and marketing collateral for events and more!
The position requires initiative; this is not a “wait for tasks” kind of role—this is a "take it by the reins and go" kind of role. Every brand we work with is unique, and no two pieces of content will be the same.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years of experience working with content strategy and development (professional or freelance!).
  • Strong project management skills and a detail-oriented approach to campaign optimization.
  • Experience running organic LinkedIn and Instagram campaigns, with a focus on platform-specific strategies
  • Ability to collaborate with design, strategy, and sales teams to create compelling content that drives audience segmentation and conversions.
  • Passion for content creation, brand storytelling, and strategic organic marketing.
  • Strong copywriting skills to maintain a consistent brand voice across all content.
  • Ability to work in Webflow, Instapage, and Figma or similar platforms.
  • Bonus: Based in Victoria, BC and able to shoot content in-office or in-studio (not required).
  • Bonus: experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, Amazon Ads, Klaviyo, or CRO tools.

THE DAY TO DAY:
Core Responsibilites:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy that enhances brand awarenessengagement, and lead generation.
  • Own the Content Calendar and manage the creative queue for content production, ensuring all assets are delivered on time.
  • Create and manage high-quality content in collaboration with video editors and graphic designers, while ensuring content aligns with brand voice and business goals.
  • Note: You won’t be responsible for graphic design or video editing for social media—our in-house graphic designer will handle that. Your role focuses on generating creative ideas, creating a brand strategy, creating and managing tickets, overseeing content, scheduling posts, and analyzing performance metrics. However, this role is expected to design and develop Landing pages and client case studies on the website independently (Figma and Instapage) no coding required.
  • Develop weekly case studies and client testimonials that highlight the value Pilothouse provides to its clients. Working directly with the our traffic teams and clients to put these together.
  • Copy writing for socials, email sends, landing pages, and website development.
  • Working with internal teams to gather the requirements and information needed to create content that speaks to the target audience.
  • Generate weekly engagement reports, analyzing performance data to refine strategies. Pull reports from Google Analytics to analyze traffic and performance.
  • Strategize innovative marketing campaigns and social media series that align with company-wide revenue goals and showcase Pilothouse's brand positioning.
  • Formulate a LinkedIn strategy to strengthen Pilothouse’s presence on the platform.
  • Post daily on social platforms, ensuring content is tailored to each platform's unique needs. Send occasional email campaigns in Pipedrive.
  • Conduct competitive audits of social media platforms to stay ahead of trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead quality and generate meaningful leads that align with business goals. Ensuring our positioning is attracting our ICP.
  • Updating the creative portfolio in Webflow to reflect new content and achievements. No coding required.
  • Create sales and marketing collateral for events as needed (banners, decks, etc.).
  • Bonus: Comfortable on camera to film UGC for Pilothouse.

We are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Brand Content Manager to join our Internal Marketing team with a passion for strategic content design and a strong work ethic. You will manage and own all creative brand projects and organic social media platforms for Pilothouse Internal Marketing (aka for Pilothouse), working closely with a team of designers to bring ideas to life. This role requires the ability to break down and communicate performance-driven strategies in fun and digestible ways. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating impactful content that enhances Pilothouse’s brand voice and positions us as a leader in the DTC space.

You will be responsible for the concepts, strategy, branding, and execution of all creative assets to impress and educate, not simply chase trends for views. We want someone who can demonstrate why Pilothouse is a top-tier agency and how we help brands scale through cutting-edge performance and strategy. **You will work closely with your direct manager [Marketing Manager] who will support and guide on the company direction, ICP, goals, and vision. You will work closely together on bringing this vision to life ensuring it's in line with our company vision.

While the primary focus of this role is on organic strategy, candidates with experience in paid campaigns—or a strong desire to learn—will find this position highly rewarding, as there will be opportunities to expand into managing paid media over time.
